Monday, September 24 2007
Mr Anton Affentranger, who has a long track record in top management in the Swiss industry, shared his experience on the topics of strategy, management and private banking with us. We talked about strategy in general and his past experience in private banking.
It is particularly interesting to listen to Mr Affentranger, because he brings a unique mix of experience to the table. From 1998 to 2000, he was Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer of the private bank Lombard Odier & Cie in Geneva (which has become Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch & Cie.). Today he is, on the one hand involved in large companies, for example as Chairman of Implenia, Switzerland’s largest construction and building services provider. On the other hand he is actively involved in young start-up companies, for example as CEO of Dartfish SA, a video software solutions provider. Latter role comes from the hands-on investment approach of his own company, Affentranger Associates.
